Hercules PLC - Hercules announces name change

Hercules Site Services PLC (LSE:HERC) has revealed plans to tweak its name, which changes to Hercules plc.

The change took place on Monday 19 May, and will be reflected on the stock exchange from Wednesday 21 May.

"The last few years have been momentous for our business,” chief executive Brusk Korkmaz said. “From listing on the London Stock Exchange, to delivering record revenues and making our first acquisition.

“The time is right to simplify our brand to reflect a business which is focused on labour supply and expanding our blue and white-collar labour supply services in the construction and infrastructure sectors in the UK.”

He added: “Our commitment to our shareholders, clients and employees will be unchanged, but our ambitions for Hercules continue to grow."

Hercules’ ticker will remain as ‘HERC’, and the ISIN and SEDOL codes will also remain unchanged. Shareholders were told that they do not need to take any action and existing share certificates remain valid.
