China reportedly lifts Boeing ban after trade war talks

China has lifted a ban on the delivery of Boeing Co (NYSE:BA, ETR:BCO) aircraft, following a temporary easing of tariffs agreed with the United States, according to Bloomberg.
Beijing has begun informing airlines and government bodies that US-made aircraft deliveries can resume. The move reverses earlier disruptions, including the return of several jets from China to the US in April.
Boeing had previously said Chinese customers halted deliveries due to tariffs and that it was considering reselling affected planes.
The agreement between Washington and Beijing to reduce tariffs by over 100% during a 90-day negotiation window has renewed momentum.
Boeing, which relies on China for around 10% of its commercial backlog, expects Chinese airlines to take most of the remaining undelivered 737 MAX jets.
Pre-market, shares in Boeing, which ended Monday up 2%, were little changed.
