Helium One Global Ltd (AIM:HE1, OTCQB:HLOGF) has reported natural gas flow test results from the Jackson-27 well, at the Galactica project in Colorado, with positive readings to date.
Jackson-27 flowed naturally at over 320 thousand cubic feet per day (Mcfd), with stabilised rates anticipated between 350 Mcfd and 450 Mcfd, and a potential maximum rate of 550 Mcfd.
Helium concentrations in initial samples reached up to 0.41% (air-corrected) with 98.31% CO₂.
It compares favourably to the State-16 well, which, as Helium One noted, showed a sustained natural flow rate of 150 Mcfd.
The company also announced that the Jackson-2 development well has now spudded at the Galactica project.
It is the fifth well in the development campaign and is targeting the Upper Lyons Formation.
Drilling of the intermediate hole section is underway, with production modelling to follow after reaching total depth.
Helium One holds a 50% working interest in the Galactica-Pegasus project, alongside operator Blue Star Helium.
