Founders Metals extends high-grade gold discovery at Van Gogh with promising drill results

Published: 15:00 24 Mar 2025 EDT

Founders Metals CEO Colin Paget joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the latest assay results from preliminary drilling at Van Gogh, the newest high-grade gold discovery at the company’s Antino Gold Project in southeastern Suriname. Recent drilling returned an impressive 72.0 metres (m) of 2.29 grams per tonne (g/t) gold (Au), extending mineralization to approximately 200.0 m vertical depth. This follows the previously reported 28.5 m of 7.12 g/t Au interval from just 18 metres downhole.

Paget emphasized that gold mineralization extends from the surface, through the saprolite zone, and into fresh rock at depth. Notably, Van Gogh represents a completely original discovery with no current or historical artisanal mining within 1.5 km of the target area, highlighting its untapped potential.

Encouraged by continued success at both Van Gogh and Da Vinci, Founders Metals is prioritizing exploration in new, high-potential areas. Up to 50% of the company's 2025 drill program will be allocated to these high-priority targets, reinforcing its commitment to expanding the Antino Gold Project. Additionally, a fifth diamond drill is expected to be operational by mid-year, further accelerating exploration efforts.
