Ora Banda confirms high-grade gold lodes at Riverina Gold Camp

Follow-up diamond drilling at Ora Banda Mining Ltd’s Little Gem prospect part of the high-grade Riverina Gold Camp, has confirmed two significant lodes at depth.

Drilling at hole LGDD25005 intersected two wide, high-grade zones 400 metres below surface. The Diamond Lode returned 22.7 metres at 5.0 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, including 14.5 metres at 6.8 g/t and a higher-grade interval of 6.2 metres at 10.8 g/t. Additionally, the Ruby Lode delivered 10.9 metres at 6.4 g/t, with standout intercepts of 3.6 metres at 16.9 g/t and 0.95 metres at 55.9 g/t.
The latest drilling forms part of a five-hole diamond program (1,849 metres) designed to build on the original LGDD24001 discovery, which previously intersected three lodes, including 4.6 metres at 7.4 g/t, 5.3 metres at 3.3 g/t, and 4.4 metres at 3.4 g/t. In addition to LGDD25005, assays have been received for hole LGDD25001, located 250 metres up-dip, returning 2.6 metres at 2.0 g/t (Diamond Lode), with 4.0 metres at 4.1 g/t and 2.1 metres at 3.5 g/t(Ruby Lode). Assays for the remaining three holes are expected by April 2025.
Geological evidence suggests the high-grade mineralisation is lithologically controlled, with similarities to the Sunraysia deposit, located 4 kilometres south of Little Gem. In response to the promising results, Ora Banda has committed to an immediate 16-hole follow-up program targeting 4.7 kilometres of prospective strike between Little Gem and Sunraysia.

“These outstanding results at Little Gem have been achieved through exceptional geology work, done well, and is exactly how deposits should be discovered,” Ora Banda managing director Luke Creagh said.
"These latest discovery intercepts at Little Gem are landmark because they open our eyes to a new 4.7km long target zone that runs all the way from Sunraysia to British Lion.
"To put this into context, this is more than double the current strike length of the known Riverina orebody.
"Consequently, we've committed to a priority 16-hole starter drill program which will test the carbonate horizons along the 4.7km strike and down to a depth of 400m.
"We are very much looking forward to seeing what this program delivers."
What’s next?
The company has launched a 16-hole diamond drilling program to evaluate prospective carbonate horizons across 4.7 kilometres, extending to a vertical depth of 400 metres. The program, designed with nominal 400-metre line spacing, aims to assess the continuity of these horizons.
Drilling will be conducted in phases, with the initial phase targeting a 1.6-kilometre strike at Little Gem and potential depth extensions beneath the Sunraysia Deposit. The program is expected to total 7,300 metres over approximately 10 weeks, with assay results anticipated within an additional four weeks.
