ATHA Energy appoints Ryan Gaffney as SVP for business development

ATHA Energy Corp (CSE:SASK, OTCQB:SASKF) told investors it has appointed Ryan Gaffney, former Canaccord Genuity (TSX:CF, LSE:CF) managing director, as the company’s new senior vice president, for business development.
Gaffney worked between Canadian and UK capital markets from 2002 to 2015 whilst at Canaccord Genuity (TSX:CF, LSE:CF), and he also has had directorships in natural resource companies such as Auroch Minerals and Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited (LSE:COPL, CSE:XOP, OTC:VELXF).
The company highlighted that Gaffney has extensive experience providing corporate finance services to mining and oil and gas companies including debt, equity and M&A origination and advice.
