About the company

Baselode Energy Corp is focused on discovering near-surface, basement-hosted, high-grade uranium orebodies in northern Saskatchewan, Canada.

The company has ~239,000 hectares of highly prospective land covering four projects within the Athabasca Basin area: Bear, Catharsis, Hook and Shadow.

The projects are all 100% owned by Baselode with no underlying option agreements or royalties.

How it is doing

20 May 2025

Baselode Energy Corp (TSX-V:FIND, OTCQB:BSENF) has expanded the footprint of shallow uranium mineralization in several zones at the ACKIO prospect in northern Saskatchewan.

The Canadian exploration company said six drill holes from its 2024 summer drilling program intersected uranium within 50 metres of surface in Pod 1, while 11 holes confirmed mineralization within 100 metres in three pods.

Drill results from Pod 1 confirmed near-surface uranium mineralization, including 0.38% U₃O₈ over 9.15 metres, and highlighted open potential for expansion to the north and south.

High-grade intercepts in Pods 6 and 7, such as 0.59% U₃O₈ over 8.5 metres and 0.19% over 23 metres, suggest a zoned mineralization system with a higher-grade core that remains underexplored at the overburden-bedrock contact.

Baselode Energy Corp (TSX-V:FIND, OTCQB:BSENF) has reported encouraging assay results from three of 43 drill holes from its 2024 program at the ACKIO uranium prospect in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin.

Two drill holes, AK24-118 and AK24-119, intersected notable uranium mineralization.

Baselode Energy Corp (TSX-V:FIND, OTCQB:BSENF) has announced promising results from the exploration and discovery portion of its drill program at the Hook project in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin.

The company said that five drill holes have outlined a massive hydrothermal clay alteration system measuring at least 200 meters by 100 meters, which resembles alteration found in Athabasca high-grade uranium deposits.

Baselode Energy Corp (TSX-V:FIND, OTCQB:BSENF) is taking uranium exploration in the Athabasca back to its roots.

The company has staked nearly 265,000 hectares of ground to the south and east of the famous Key Lake uranium mill, jointly-owned by Cameco (85%) and Orano (15%), and not too far from the even more prolific MacArthur River and Cigar Lake mines either.

What management says

03 Dec 2024

Baselode Energy Corp (TSX-V:FIND, OTCQB:BSENF) CEO James Sykes talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company's ongoing uranium exploration successes in Saskatchewan, home to the world's highest-grade uranium deposits. Sykes highlighted the significance of the company's axial mineralization discovery, which starts just 25 meters below the surface and holds open-pit potential with high-margin returns.

Discussing recent assay results, Sykes noted significant progress with high-grade intercepts of over 1% uranium within 100 meters of the surface. He emphasized the momentum in the global nuclear sector, citing demand driven by new builds in Europe and Asia. Sykes also outlined Baselode’s strategic approach to meet supply needs and upcoming milestones, including the release of 40 drill hole results from their 2024 season.

Sykes affirmed that Baselode is fully funded for its 2025 drilling program, with $10 million in cash and $5 million in working capital. He shared plans for potential new discoveries and strategic partnerships to enhance shareholder value. Baselode is also exploring mineral characterization to optimize mining efficiency at its Ackio deposit.
